It was clear that neither of the two were taking each other seriously. Regardless of whether they’ve had actual experience or not, they were judging on appearance. It was all unprofessional for Bayman, but he couldn’t help but scrutinize. It was in his nature and profession. The girl seemed to be offended by his accusation; he could tell by the way she inspected herself, then casted Bayman a disgusted glare. She must not be seeing the same thing as me. Scratching his smooth chin, Bayman sighed. He wasn’t going to get anywhere at this rate. Neither was willing to reveal any information, and it was proving to become more of an inconvenience to the assassin. His point was proven when the girl answered his question with her own. It was clear she was not going to speak anymore as she crossed her arms defensively and gave him a look of intensity. Should he risk vocalizing his dirty mission in order to locate this man? It certainly wouldn’t be worth the trouble; there were only so many places for a hippie to hide in a meadow. Bayman has had more difficult assignments. Of course, it was almost completely dark, and he hasn’t visited the outer parts of Cambria all that often. The girl could be a regular of this greenery, and help him around…but it wasn’t like Bayman to accept help. That was his problem. He wasn’t able to admit when he needed assistance. Coming to this conclusion, Bayman locked his jaws and narrowed his eyes, staring at the girl for what seemed like a century. Finally, Bayman grunted, “My name is Bayman. I’ve come to…find a man. Could you help me locate him?” Bayman cut of his words off with a breath of air. That had been more difficult than necessary. But it would make his mission go along much more smoothly. Better yet, his employer wouldn’t have a clue that Bayman hadn’t acted alone. It all depended on the girl’s simple answer, though. Bayman didn’t like the odds of that. Biting his tongue, Bayman stammered, “P-please?” That should buy some of her respect.
