.Character Appearance.
Eye Color --Vibrant Green (left), Red (Right)
Eternal Trait --White streak of hair (fur in animal form), Eyes
Height --5'7"
Weight --130 lbs
Overall Appearance --...she looks... intelligent. She constantly wears her hair short, cut evening at shoulder length, her bangs pulled out of the wait. Her hair, which is a light dusty brown in color, is softer then usual and thick, but appears overall to be neatly kept. Moving down, her eyes are a stunner. One on the left, its green. Not just hazel or anything, but green to the point it resembles emeralds in color and shine. And her right eye and equally so, but in a shade of deep red. If you look closely, a scar runs over her red eye to her cheek bone, and forehead. Though it's hardly noticeable on her dark skin. (not black, more... heavily tan) Her shape is well toned, slender but healthy, with a good muscle on her that's usually hidden behind her clothing. (What nerd works out?) Her ears are another quirk; they're slightly pointed, but no one notices past her many piercings there. It's as if she once when through a piercing phase, and never bothered to remove the studs and bars in her ears. (Six on her left ear, nine on her right, along the rims.)
Her clothing matches her look to a degree. Nothing too fancy or tight, and usually in dark colors. Her tops are normally casual T's, or a soft colored blouse that buttons up in the front. Pants are a wide array of jeans, cords, even skirts on those rare occasions. A good sense of fashion, but nothing fancy or 'trendy'. Usually feminine. Over top, though, she constantly wears a jacket; black, made of soft leather, inside pockets as well as hidden sleeve pockets. Outside pockets, a belt is needed for the length. A green trim along the sleeve (where it would stitch together) and an odd 'badge' marking on the chest. Down to the ground if she slouches, but it's a good length for a trench coat.
.Personal Character Information.
Personality --Unusually friendly for a shapeshifter. She mingles with humans as if she were one of them, not much interested in the history of her planet. Who would care? Things happen, and her ideals sometimes match humans' in alot of cases. She agrees with prisons, and serving time for crimes. Their history, both real and myth, is fascinating! They was she sees it, life would be alot more boring without humans around to make a mess for her to clean up. She views them like... like animals? Like a co-existing race? Meh. Well, on to her temper; she's got one. Anything from muddying up her coat to calling her an unwanted nickname will piss her off. She has a bad habit of growling when she's angry, sometimes cursing and ranting in one of her three other languages. (She's been taught alot for her age) A romantic at heart, but it'll take forever for the girl to open up to anyone like that. It's hard enough to make friends with the girl who instantly places you as her enemy until further notice. But once you gain her trust, you have a friend for life... so long as you don't break it. Her usual hobbies include; reading books, trying new kinds of teas, collecting novels and historical items (sculptures, books, scrolls, ect), 'watching' human behavior.
History --Two years ago, you'd never guess she'd be the same person. As a child, she grew up being told humans were just strange creatures looking for a home. Over the time of her early teen years, that turned into humans being invaders looking for trouble... and then in her late teen years, she found herself without a single family member. But still, her blame wasn't set on the entire race; how could a species be the reason for her parents death? You don't kill an entire species of animal if one attacks their owner, right?
Now many of you probably ask, 'why the scar?'. The one over her eye? Well! During the raids, around the time her parents were killed, the little changeling found herself between a wall and a human soldier.. she was still so young, and though taught well, her fear had prevented her much clear thinking. He struck her with his weapon (ask her today, and she'll never be able to tell you what it was). It caused a gash to go across her eye, nearly blinding her permanently. She had escaped with her second form (which she used for the first time that day) a red-tailed hawk. She avoids anyone who's scent resembles that soldier's to this day, in fear of being recognized.
Other then the humans, she grew up secluded. Her family was a high-status family on her home planet, constantly shoving lessons down her throat. She was taught human languages; Russian, German, Spanish, Italian.. and thanks to her species, her bloodline, she learned these extremely fast. Ancient languages took longer to learn, since she taught herself through books and audios, as well as other means. So over a few years (four to five) the girl was quickly a multi-human-language speaker, making it all the more easier to blend in despite her appearance....but that's not very historic.
Ever since her family was killed during the raids, she made it a goal to blend in with humans and learn more about them. Many times, an offer was made for her to join the rebellion against them, but she refused; some of her acquaintances were humans, after all. If they killed them off, what would she study? So the little changeling goes about her life on neutral terms, as a single girl trying to get a job in sciences.
.RP Example. (Taken from a cat rp)
He wasn't alone.
Hawk had returned to the beach, if only to wish her beloved and very much dead family well in their ocean graves. But what she found was far more interesting then prayers. The tabby tom was close, though not too close for details. She crouched in the mist and waves, never once minding the cold water that lapped at her paws and belly fur. She rather liked the water, though the salty mist was barely tolerable.
She knew how it worked now. Claim a cat, have a tribe. Let them be and they'd either die or get claimed elsewhere. Right now, she couldn't risk it; her only tribemate was the casanova cat that played with girls' hearts. He wouldn't stay long. But maybe... maybe this tom cat would. And so, with an air of subtle pride, she moved closed. "You're looking alot like I did not a while ago, stranger. I wouldn't worry though. This place is very welcoming to cats." She moved so he could see her well, and sat. Though her fur was wet, it was evident that she was healthy. Much more so compared to her first day washing ashore.
"You'll die here, on the shore. Why not come and hunt, instead of clinging to your wooden fears?" She spoke warmly, wisely. As if the tortie she-cat knew what he was going through... and she did. She could almost see herself there, frightened and weary of the island in front of her. He was like that now, and though her ultimate goal was to convert him to Amandis, she felt the need to comfort him, and welcome him to his new and wild life. "I'm Hawk. Leader of Amandis Tribe. And you're welcome here, on the island."
