.Character Appearance.
Eye Color -- Dark chocolate brown almost black.
Height -- A rather tall height of five feet and nine inches.
Weight -- One hundred and thirty pounds.
Overall Appearance -- The first thing many people notice about Koko is her height. She's not a very demure woman standing at a nice height of five foot nine. She's a very thin woman not quite sickly looking but she could stand to have a bit more meat on her bones. Her arms are fairly long and they end with slender hand and twiggy fingers that usually have dirty beneath her finger nails. The woman's practically all legs, as they are long as well.
Koko's a rather nice looking young woman but that's primarily because she works at it. It isn't as though she wakes up in the morning and manages to be sparkly eyed and fully made up. She's got a rather nice looking face that's hart shaped with a pair of wide set chocolate eyes. Her eyes are almond shaped and usually smiling. Her skin's a cocoa color and she's got a rather nice complexion. Koko's nose is rather big and thick but it suits her face rather well so she'll take it with a grain of salt. She takes pride in the fact that she has good skin and she does her very best to take care of it. Miss Freeman has a rather pretty smile. Her lips are full and they show off a set of pearly whites. When Koko smiles she sports a pair of dimples. Her eyebrows are very thin and pronounced, often raising up when she's surprised or arching when she's confused.
Dark hair curls just around her shoulders and is always parted in the middle. When she's at work it's usually tied up in a high bun or in a loose pony tail at the back of her head.
Quite normally she wears blacks or whites it doesn't matter what it is so long as it' either black or white. She loves heals but while at work she'll wear sensible and dirt covered shoes. The majority of her pants have dirt on her knees.

.Personal Character Information.
Personality -- First and foremost, Koko wants to have fun. She wants to enjoy herself and taste as much of life as possible. She wants to make sure that she's living it to her fullest and doing everything possible to make sure she can do it. Koko leaves no stone unturned, she wants to taste just about everything she can or do anything. The Freeman woman is very energetic and it's hard to keep her still and in one place. She loves to run, jump, and just move.
She's usually the voice of reason amongst her group of friends though that doesn't mean she won't rush into things without thinking. She's horrible at planning things out and usually she doesn't understand or think things through until she's already knee deep into an issue. Half the time she won't know what she's doing until she's already doing it.
She's fairly empathetic and she can easily walk a mile in someone else's shoes. She's very polite to people and fairly nice most of the time. She's more than willing to offer the shirt off her back for somebody if she knows that it's the right thing to do. Every move Koko makes is with a good intention and with a sense of justice. Even though she knows it won't always be right in society's eyes she will have to do it because it's what's right. When she was young her father always taught her to follow her heart and that's how she lives her life.
Sometimes, that's not so good though. If she's under the assumption that she's doing something for the greater good she will continue to work on that and sometimes she'll toss in her opinion where it may not belong. If she believes that somebody's being "repressed" or if there's something she can do to help she'll offer her "help".
Koko's a woman of integrity and she won't ever do something half assed. If she's put her mind to something she'll make sure to finish it. She displays a large air of confidence she can do anything she can put her mind to if she puts some elbow grease into it. Perhaps she thinks that way because nobody ever told her otherwise or because she just knows she can achieve.
She's stubborn and no matter what she's doing she'll make sure she's doing her best at it. Being extremely headstrong she was a very tenacious young lady. Koko wouldn't just toss in the towel and give up until she did everything humanly possible to make things work. She was a hard working individual and behind her curious and innocent face beat the heart of someone who could put two and two together.
While not the smartest person she's chock full of common sense. Koko's fairly out spoken. She doesn't have much of a filter when it comes to something that's offence to her. She'll usually have to toss her two cents in about something if she either agrees or disagrees with it. She'll always weigh out the other party's opinion even if she knows she's the one that's right. She won't always listen to people.
History -- Mr. and Mrs. Freeman were a nice old fashioned couple. Mr. Freeman was a doctor and Mrs. Freeman a nurse that never really worried about money, Mr. Freeman having come from a rich family. They were people that never had to worry about anything. They didn't have to worry about where their next meal would come from, if they'd have a roof over their head, or if they'd be able to support a child. So they had Koko. She was the apple of their eye.
Koko was given the best toys, the best room, the best nanny, and the best preschool that money could buy. Her parents did their best to spend time with Koko and she never wanted for anything. When Koko was a few years old they had the second Freeman girl, Asiah.
Koko loved Asiah, she was much better than having a cat and far more fun than a nanny. Mrs. Freeman always made sure that the Freeman girls stayed out of trouble. They had a pretty nice childhood and put into activities to better themselves. From ballet, vocal coaching, tap, flute lessons, tennis, gymnastics, and piano lessons they had a packed afternoon as soon as they entered grace school. Mrs. Freeman grew up without a lot and didn't her babies going without anything.
Koko didn't mind as long as Asiah was with her. The Freeman's had yet another little girl, Ferrah and Koko seemed to enjoy it. Having one sister was fun having two was even better. She had always been a bossy child and having the two to boss around was the best for her.
School came very easy for Koko and she always seemed to make good grades. She had always told her parents she wanted to be an animal doctor when she was an adult. They laughed it off but Koko was totally serious. So when she graduated she took up a job as a zookeeper as a first step to get to her dream. As well as move from the West down South.
At the moment, she was just starting out and she was trying to find her place in the world.

The past was the past and no one really ever spoke about theirs. It was like some sort of taboo. Charles never mentioned hers not because she came from an abusive home, was starved, or anything of sort. No. Charles' childhood had been very happy--perhaps a bit unconventional with a single father who took her out to sea but it was nothing that she was ashamed of. There was nothing that she was afraid to tell her new family. Except for...She blinked and focused on the purple haired male by her side.
No one talked about it because they were pirates. Pirates were creatures of the moment. She knew that she was in a life that could have her living in one moment and then have a bullet plunge through her chest in the next if it was a bad day. She knew the risks as did he and they knew that life along the sea was a fragile thing.
He wasn't too sure on where to go and she was a bit surprised when she was given the choice of dining. She didn't expect the invitation to eat. In fact, in all honesty she hadn't expected to have been accepted into the Black Lotus crew. She was a girl first of all and had all but been a child when she confronted Clyde but she was strong and tough, which was all her pa's doing. He never wanted a little girl, especially not a girly one so he never treated her like one. Charles didn't identify herself as a "woman" when it came to being around her crew since she wasn't treated like one. She made a lousy girl anyway.
She was just one of the boys and she supposed she liked it that way. She didn't want special treatment because she had a few different parts. She wanted to show that she was just as good as everybody else. That they didn't have to treat her with kid gloves and tip toe around her feelings. Clyde occasionally showed that he had a gentleman type tendency towards them. If she was more girly she would have thought that he himself was a knightly pirate of some sort. But she knew better.
The decision was left to her and she rocked on her feet. She thought back to where she had been to throughout the morning. She had collected a few other odds and ends--they didn't need to stock up fully yet it was just a few things that would go perishable eventually and they couldn't keep a lot of. Rubbing her chin with a coarse hand she pouted and puffed her cheeks out before nodding and tilting her chin up to him.
"Let's get some soba," she suggested cheerily. It was a change from rice which she loved but they ate it at least twice a day. It was cheap, easy to prepare, and everybody on the ship liked it. Charles waved in the direction she had been walking in before she shifted her pack and stared to walk in the direction she had came from. "I could use a nice big bowl myself." She was more in the mood for barbeque or something more exotic but she knew her captain.
Her boots pounded quietly along the street as she asked, "Hey, Captain?" The question of why he liked the violins so much sat on her tongue. Who taught him how to play. All sorts of questions waited along her lips but she held them back. She wasn't about to destroy the chance she was getting just because she had a big mouth. "I'll make a nice big batch of tea when you're violin's back," she changed the subject swiftly. She would too but he probably knew that. "Nothing's like using fresh leaves." Charles hated tea so much since she was just so damn tired of preparing it all the time.
Shoving her hands into her pockets she felt her shoulders raise up against her cheeks. Should she just walk with him? Or should she be quiet? She didn't quite know what to do. Relax, she thought to herself. That was something she could start to work on.
